Our greenhouses and gardens are bursting with young, crisp vegetables and fragrant herbs, fresh and full of flavour, ready to be harvested and served. Everything is coming alive-the first harvest is in, the flowers are blooming and the landscape is becoming more colourful by the day.
Spring menu: an ode to the season
Our chef, Pieter Jobse, has created a special spring menu that brings to life the versatility and freshness of the season. Enjoy succulent asparagus, tender broad beans and tangy radishes, all freshly harvested from our own open-field crops. These pure, seasonal ingredients are refined with edible flowers and aromatic herbs from our garden, resulting in colourful and flavourful creations that let spring shine on your plate.
Guided tour of flowering gardens
Prior to dinner 'At our greenhouse' or the 'Shared lunch with guided tour' on Sunday, we will take you on an inspiring tour of our greenhouses and gardens. Be enchanted by the flowering crops, discover our various cultivation methods, sustainable business practices and experience up close where your dish comes from. This unique experience strengthens the connection with your food and makes the flavours on your plate even more intense and real.
Home-grown drinks
Complete your spring experience with a carefully selected drink that perfectly complements seasonal dishes. Try our homemade spicy mocktail, enriched with fresh herbs and edible flowers from the tea garden, or enjoy a locally brewed wheat beer with a subtle hint of chervil-a fresh and sophisticated combination.
